Speech Language Pathologist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
• Active Ohio state license in Speech-Language Pathology required to start the assignment.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience evaluating and treating adult inpatient populations, including dysphagia assessment and treatment, required.
• Proven ability to complete timely, accurate documentation including evaluations, daily notes, goal writing, letters of medical necessity, discharge summaries, and charge entry in accordance with hospital policies and payer requirements.
• Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to plan for discharge and coordinate equipment trials and patient/family training.
• Ability to manage individual and concurrent treatment sessions and to cover flexible caseload needs.
• Adherence to state Practice Act, professional code of conduct, and maintenance of licensure and required continuing education.
• Preferred: Experience in acute care or hospital settings and familiarity with safe patient handling procedures.
