Speech Language Pathologist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program.
• Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
• Active Texas state license is required to start the assignment. Compact licensure noted as accepted; candidate must meet Texas licensure requirements.
• Minimum 2 years of SLP experience required. Experience in long term care or skilled nursing settings preferred.
• Experience developing treatment plans for swallowing, cognitive and communication disorders, and managing aspiration risk preferred.
• Experience leading or directing delivery of speech-language pathology services in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations preferred.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility.
• Shift Name: Days.
• Shift Type: 8 hour day shifts, 40 hours guaranteed.
• Schedule: 5 days per week, 5x8.
• Duration: 13 week assignment.
• Weekend Requirement: None.
