Speech Language Pathologist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program.
- Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA required.
- Active Missouri state license required to start the assignment. Compact licensure accepted where applicable.
- Minimum of 1 year of SLP clinical experience required. Experience in long term care (LTC) or skilled nursing preferred.
- Ability to perform standardized assessments and provide evidence-based interventions for communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in an LTC setting.
- Documentation competency in electronic medical records and accurate recording of treatment minutes per regulatory requirements.
- Ability to supervise and support Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) clinicians or SLP students when needed.
- Adherence to ASHA and state practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics.
- BLS certification may be required from AHA or ARC.
- Preferred: Three years of experience holding active CCCs.
Assignment Details
- Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility.
- Shift Name: Days.
- Shift Schedule: Monday through Friday, five 8-hour shifts per week. Start time must be before 6:00 AM and no later than 10:00 AM; times are flexible if consistent and communicated with Director of Rehab.
- 35 Guaranteed Workweek.
- Weekend Requirement: No routine weekends. If a holiday falls within Monday–Friday, hours may be made up on the weekend.
- Length: 13-week travel assignment.
- Floating: Candidate may be required to float to other facilities within the client network as needed.
