This contract opportunity is for a Physical Therapist (PT) specializing in school-based services, located in Lansdale, PA, and surrounding areas within Lower Bucks County. The role supports Extended School Year (ESY) programs with flexible hours ranging from 12 to 24 hours per week during the ESY instructional period from June 29 to July 30, 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver PT services aligned with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with moderate to severe needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, therapists, and related service staff to support student goals.
  • Provide center-based and itinerant services across multiple school locations within Lower Bucks County.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with PDE PT credentialing requirements.
  • Adapt therapy approaches to a variety of classroom settings and student needs.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active PA Physical Therapy licensure and compliance with PDE PT standards.
  • Experience working in school-based settings, preferably with ESY programs.
  • Ability and willingness to work with students who present moderate to severe behavioral and developmental needs.
  • Reliable transportation and residence within 35 minutes of the service area.
  • Availability to commit to the full ESY schedule, Monday through Thursday, with student hours generally from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • References from a supervisor (minimum rating 3.5 if using RefAssure) and proof of licensure required for consideration.

  • Orientation and scheduling vary based on assigned location and hours.
  • Assignments are based on matching candidate skills with student needs; flexibility in placement and classroom assignments is expected.
  • Candidates who have provided services to this client through another agency within the past year are ineligible; a one-year break is required before re-engagement.
