Job DescriptionMaster's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services in a school setting located in Hammond, IN. This role focuses on delivering therapy to K-12 students, managing a caseload of approximately 90-100 students, with a work schedule of 30-35 hours per week across 5 days.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Indiana licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) credential required
- Experience working with school-age children (K-12)
- Ability to manage a high caseload efficiently while maintaining quality services
- Experience or comfort with teletherapy options is a plus
- Candidates in their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are encouraged to apply
Position Details:
- Contract duration: February 16, 2026 May 28, 2026
- Weekly hours: 30-35, 5 days per week
- Caseload size: 90-100 students, consistent with typical full-time staff caseloads in the district
- Location: Hammond, IN, with possible assignments within Porter County
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and provide evidence-based speech-language therapy to K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with school policies and state regulations
- Adapt therapy methods for in-person and teletherapy sessions as required
