A bit about us:

This organization is developing a next-generation hyperscale data center campus designed for speed, scale, and repeatable execution. The mission is simple but demanding: deliver complex mission-critical infrastructure with precision—where design, engineering, and construction operate as a fully integrated system, not disconnected silos.

Design is not a handoff here. It is the backbone of execution performance.

Why join us?

This is a rare opportunity to own the design integration function for a large-scale hyperscale program being built from the ground up.
Exceptional Compensation: Top-of-market base salary with strong annual performance bonuses
Significant Equity Ownership: Meaningful equity in a rapidly scaling infrastructure platform with long-term upside potential
Fully Covered Benefits: 100% employer-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance
High-Impact Ownership Role: You are not supporting design—you are owning design execution across the entire campus
Build from First Principles: Help define how hyperscale design integration is done at scale
Long-Term Platform Growth: Multi-phase campus development with expanding scope and leadership opportunity

Job Details

The Senior Data Center Design Integration Manager serves as the owner’s representative responsible for ensuring all design and engineering deliverables are fully coordinated, constructible, and aligned with program requirements.

This role sits at the center of design execution—managing architects, engineers, consultants, and the tenant design team to ensure that every issued-for-construction package is complete, coordinated, and aligned with schedule and field execution needs.

You will be the critical link between design intent and real-world constructability.

What You Will Own
End-to-end design coordination across architecture, structure, MEP, fire protection, controls, and specialty systems
IFC deliverable schedule alignment with construction and procurement milestones
Cross-discipline coordination and resolution of design conflicts before they reach the field
Basis of Design (BOD) compliance and consistency across all building packages
BIM coordination, clash detection, and model integrity validation
Design change control, scope tracking, and approval workflows
RFI governance between construction and design teams
Constructability reviews, value engineering, and peer design validation
Tenant design integration and alignment with base building systems
Design deliverable reporting, dashboards, and executive status updates
AI-Enabled Design Execution

This role is part of a modern, data-driven delivery environment where AI and digital tools are embedded into design workflows:

AI-powered BIM clash detection and spatial coordination
Automated design review for specification compliance and completeness
Predictive analytics for design schedule performance and risk detection
Generative design tools to optimize layouts and system routing
Digital twin integration connecting design models to field execution
AI-supported tracking dashboards for design deliverables and milestones
What You Bring
15+ years in design management, engineering coordination, or technical delivery
8+ years in hyperscale data center or mission-critical facility programs
Strong command of multi-discipline design coordination (MEP-heavy environments preferred)
Deep experience managing external design consultants and engineering firms
Expertise in BIM workflows, clash detection, and model-based coordination
Proven ability to manage IFC deliverable schedules across multiple concurrent projects
Experience enforcing Basis of Design (BOD) standards at scale
Strong communication and stakeholder alignment skills in matrix environments
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline (PE/RA preferred)

Preferred Experience
Hyperscale programs with AWS, Microsoft, Google, Meta, Oracle, or leading developers
Design-build or integrated delivery environments
Tier III/IV data center standards (Uptime Institute)
ASHRAE / NFPA mission-critical design frameworks
Emerging systems: liquid cooling, high-density power, advanced automation platforms
Experience in fast-scaling organizations building design standards from scratch
Work Environment
Fully onsite role in Amarillo, TX
Active construction environment with site access required
Travel to vendors, fabrication shops, and partner offices as needed
Flexibility during key delivery milestones and coordination cycles
Why This Role Matters

Every delay, RFI, and coordination error in design compounds downstream into cost, schedule, and execution risk. This role ensures that does not happen.

You will own the integrity of design delivery—ensuring every package is coordinated, constructible, and aligned with execution reality. In a hyperscale environment, this role directly determines whether projects move fast or fall behind.
