Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Virginia Physical Therapy License is required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC required prior to start.
- Experience in acute care required. Candidate must have recent acute care physical therapy experience.
- Ability to manage caseloads in a hospital setting, including experience with acuity changes, safe patient handling, and documentation in an electronic medical record.
- Current malpractice and professional liability coverage as required by facility policy.
- Preferred: prior travel PT experience and experience with ICU or progressive care patients. These are preferred, not required.
