Job DescriptionMaster's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), SLP-CF, or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide maternity leave coverage at a middle school in Andover, MN. This role involves supporting students speech and language development with a flexible schedule during the academic period from September 8 through early December 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language services to middle school students under district supervision.
- Collaborate with teachers and educational staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.
- Adapt scheduling to work half days Monday through Friday or a combination of full and half days, based on district flexibility.
- Support communication goals by providing assessments, interventions, and counseling as needed.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid Minnesota license as an SLP or be an SLP-CF or SLPA eligible for district supervision.
- Familiarity with school-based speech pathology practices.
- Ability to work approximately 18 hours per week within duty hours of 7:30 AM to 2:45 PM.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with students and school personnel.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the varying schedule needs of the district.
