Job Description

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An occupational therapy professional is needed to provide services for students in grades K-12 at a school in Hastings, NE. This contract position offers an opportunity to work with a diverse student population ranging from early childhood through high school, supporting their development and educational success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy evaluations and interventions tailored to students in grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Monitor and document student progress while adjusting therapy plans as needed.
• Provide guidance and recommendations for classroom adaptations and assistive technology.

Qualifications:

• Active State License in Occupational Therapy.
• Experience working with school-aged children across multiple grade levels.
• Knowledge of school-based therapy practices and education regulations.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Position Details:

• Contract duration: January 2026 through June 2026.
• Work schedule: 5 days per week, 30-37.5 hours weekly.
• Age group served: Kindergarten through 12th grade.
