Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school-based speech-language pathologist position is available in Joliet, IL, serving elementary students with diverse communication needs. This full-time role offers a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:30 AM to 3:40 PM, with 37.5 guaranteed weekly hours. The contract runs through May 22, 2026, with part-time opportunities available until March 27, 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language impairments across various education settings, including Supported Education, Multi-needs, and Speech-only caseloads.
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of student progress and participate in team meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Valid state certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
  • Experience working within school environments is required.
  • Strong skills in managing diverse caseloads, including multi-needs students.
