Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license and minimum 1+ years Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract opportunity for an LPN/LVN offers a focused role providing critical nursing support in an early childhood education environment. Located in Flint, MI, this position involves working at a preschool and childcare center, delivering 1:1 nursing care during half-day shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized nursing care with an emphasis on G-tube suctioning and tracheostomy (trach) management
• Support early childhood learners requiring medical supervision and care
• Ensure health and safety protocols are consistently followed
• Collaborate with educators and staff to facilitate a supportive learning environment

Qualifications and Experience:

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license, in good standing
• Experience in pediatric nursing care, specifically with G-tube and trach care preferred
• Ability to provide compassionate 1:1 support and work effectively in a school setting
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to complete fingerprinting and obtain district badges as required for onboarding

Schedule and Location:

• Half-day shifts from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM
• Dates needed: February 3, 9, 12, 17, 19; March 5, 11; April 7, 9, 10; and May 7
• Position located in Flint, MI at a preschool and childcare center

Additional Information:

• This is a contract role with specific start times and attendance requirements
• Onsite fingerprinting will be facilitated as part of the onboarding process
• Sub acceptance deadline is up to 8:00 AM or the start time of the school day
