Job Details

Senior Financial Analyst
Our client is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join a high-performing team supporting a key manufacturing division. This role offers strong visibility across operations and leadership, with the opportunity to drive financial insights, influence decision-making, and play a hands-on role in improving performance and profitability.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead month-end close activities, including preparation and analysis of financial reports
  • Analyze gross margins and provide detailed insights into product line profitability
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes, including monthly P&L forecasts and annual planning
  • Evaluate manufacturing costs and provide variance analysis against budgets and forecasts
  • Track and report on sales backlog and pipeline activity
  • Partner with operations to identify cost-saving opportunities and drive continuous improvement
  • Develop financial models, KPIs, and reporting tools to support leadership decision-making
  • Monitor inventory levels, turnover, and controls to optimize working capital
  • Support capital investment decisions through ROI and CAPEX analysis
  • Assist with audit support and ensure accuracy of financial data and controls

What They’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 3–5 years of experience in financial analysis or accounting, ideally within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of cost accounting, inventory, and job costing concepts
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
  • Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyze large datasets and trends
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally
