Job Summary and Qualifications

Under the guidance of the Team Leader and/or Supervisor of Respiratory Care, the RCA/student will serve as a member of the healthcare team by providing assistance with caring for the appropriate patient population. Provide respiratory care, such as electrocardiograms, and non-invasive therapy, as ordered by physicians, according to established standards and practices. Perform a variety of duties relative to cleaning, disinfecting, and storing respiratory therapy equipment and restocking of supplies.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (NBRC-RRT) Registered Respiratory Therapist must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• Associate degree
