A well-established real estate law practice in the Duluth area is seeking an experienced Residential Real Estate Closing Paralegal to join its team.

This position is based in a smaller, collaborative closing office that was recently added to a growing real estate law practice. The office includes two attorneys and administrative support staff and focuses on providing a smooth, client-focused closing experience.

This is an excellent opportunity for a paralegal who enjoys working in a lower-volume, relationship-driven closing environment where attention to detail and strong client communication are valued.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage residential real estate closings from contract through closing
• Coordinate with lenders, real estate agents, buyers, and sellers
• Prepare and review closing disclosures, settlement statements, and closing documents
• Assist with pre-closing preparation and file organization
• Ensure files are complete and compliant prior to closing
• Support attorneys with occasional commercial real estate transactions when needed
• Maintain clear communication with all parties throughout the transaction

Qualifications

• 2+ years of residential real estate closing paralegal experience
• Experience managing files from contract to closing
• Familiarity with closing disclosures and settlement statements
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a small office environment
• Comfortable interacting with clients, lenders, and real estate agents

Preferred but not required

• Exposure to commercial real estate transactions
• Experience with real estate closing software systems
