Job Description
Mead Veterinary Medical Center is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician to join our dedicated team! This is an excellent opportunity for skilled, outgoing technicians who want to fully utilize their education and expertise while building meaningful relationships with clients and their pets.
In this role, you will:
• Provide excellent patient care during surgical and dental procedures-including anesthesia monitoring, patient preparation and recovery, as well as performing dental cleanings and radiographs.
• Ensure efficient exam room workflow while delivering outstanding client communication and support.
• Review treatment plans, provide clear discharge instructions, and answer client questions with empathy and confidence.
• Collaborate closely with the veterinary team to support the veterinarian's orders during outpatient visits and procedures, helping ensure the highest level of patient care.
This position is ideal for detail-oriented technicians who are passionate about exceptional patient and client care and are excited to work at the top of their license in a supportive, team-focused environment.
This is a full-time, or part-time position, with a 4/10 schedule and availability needed Monday-Friday with rotating Saturdays.

- Compensation: $23 - $28per hour, for each hour worked*
- Bonus package: $2000

Minimum qualifications and skill set:
- 5+ years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting
- Current Veterinary Technician License in the state of Colorado
- Proficiency in the following skills:
- Anesthesia induction and monitoring
- Dental prophys
- IVC placement
- Blood draws
- Drug calculations
- Client communication
