Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active California Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Minimum experience: No New Grad candidates accepted; prior outpatient physical therapy experience required. (Preferred: experience with musculoskeletal and functional rehabilitation.)
• Experience performing comprehensive evaluations, developing treatment plans, documentation of goals and functional outcomes, and charge entry in compliance with clinic policies and payer guidelines.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise and delegate to therapy aides or support staff and to participate in student education when assigned.
• Maintain professional licensure and meet state-mandated continuing education requirements. Adhere to professional code of conduct and facility safety policies.

• Workload: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
• Candidate requirement: No new graduates; must have prior clinical experience.
