Exceptional opportunity for experienced Registered Nurses specializing in Emergency Room care to take on a travel assignment in a leading medical center in Peoria, AZ. This Level 1 Trauma hospital is a nationally recognized teaching facility with a strong focus on tertiary care, medical education, and research. Nurses with a minimum of two years of core ER experience and prior travel assignments in ED or Neuro ICU settings will find this role well-suited to their skills and career goals.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Current RN licensure with at least 2 years of core Emergency Room experience
- Previous travel nurse experience in Emergency Department or Neuro ICU highly preferred
- Proficiency with Cerner EMR required
- Level 1 Trauma and teaching hospital experience mandatory
- Prophecy Dysrhythmia Exam must be passed within 24-48 hours prior to position acceptance (max 2 attempts)
- No facial piercings and natural hair colors only
- Own vehicle needed for travel teams
- Ability to comply with strict onboarding deadlines and facility policies
Responsibilities Include:
- Deliver comprehensive emergency nursing care in a high-acuity Level 1 Trauma center
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced teaching hospital environment
- Utilize Cerner EMR for documentation and communication
- Mentor nursing students and participate in clinical education activities
- Adhere to facility protocols and patient safety standards at all times

- Travel assignment with contract length no less than 13 weeks

- Parking provided with shuttle service for day shifts; assigned garage spots for night shifts
