Job Description

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years ER RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Current RN licensure with at least 2 years of core Emergency Room experience
• Previous travel nurse experience in Emergency Department or Neuro ICU highly preferred
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR required
• Level 1 Trauma and teaching hospital experience mandatory
• Prophecy Dysrhythmia Exam must be passed within 24-48 hours prior to position acceptance (max 2 attempts)
• No facial piercings and natural hair colors only
• Own vehicle needed for travel teams
• Ability to comply with strict onboarding deadlines and facility policies

Responsibilities Include:

• Deliver comprehensive emergency nursing care in a high-acuity Level 1 Trauma center
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced teaching hospital environment
• Utilize Cerner EMR for documentation and communication
• Mentor nursing students and participate in clinical education activities
• Adhere to facility protocols and patient safety standards at all times
