Maintenance Mechanic / Electrical – Manpower


Our client, corrugated paper manufacturer, is seeking to hire several Maintenance Technicians to join their maintenance team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing scheduled preventative maintenance, addressing any emergency /breakdowns maintenance as well as following all safety rules, policies and practices.

The ideal candidate will bring previous maintenance experience to the position along with a positive attitude which will align successfully with the company’s culture an environment.  

Job Title:                           Maintenance Mechanic / Electrical  
Location:                          Fenton MO
Pay Rate:                          $38/hour + shift differential + $1000 sign-on bonus
Shift:                                  3:00pm-11:00pm / 11:00pm – 7:00am Monday - Friday


What’s the Job?
  • Following all safety rules and practices
  • Performing preventive maintenance activities such as lubricating, measuring wear, measuring positions, repositioning components; and observing operations, vibrations, and noise levels
  • Performing emergency/break down maintenance as necessary to support plant operations
  • Accurately using measurement and test equipment
  • Performing electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, steam system, and other repairs and installations as needed
  • Maintain clean and organized work area as part of completing assigned tasks
  • Accurately and completely preparing and maintaining maintenance records and other paperwork
  • Troubleshooting and solving problems
  • Maintaining teamwork with other associates; and
  • Performing other duties as assigned by supervision

What’s Needed?
  • 3+ yrs of experience in a mechanical and/or electrical maintenance position.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills within the mechanical and electrical areas to include pneumatics, hydraulics and PLCs.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High School diploma or GED required.  Additional training in the trades is preferred.
