Are you a seasoned professional with a solid background in Accounts Payable management, looking for a dynamic, remote position in the Healthcare industry? We are seeking a Consulting Consultant: AP Manager to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to leverage your expertise in invoicing, GL, customer service, supplier maintenance, travel and expense (T&E), disbursements, content coordination, entries, analysis, month-end and year-end closing. Familiarity with PeopleSoft, Workday, and GHX is a preferred.
Responsibilities:
As a Consulting Consultant: AP Manager, you will be responsible for:
1. Overseeing the entire accounts payable function, including invoicing, GL, supplier maintenance, disbursements, and entries.
2. Managing the T&E process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
3. Collaborating with content coordinators to ensure the smooth operation of financial systems.
4. Performing detailed analysis of financial data, identifying trends, and providing insightful reports to senior management.
5. Ensuring timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes.
6. Utilizing PeopleSoft, Workday, and GHX to streamline and automate AP processes.
7. Providing exceptional customer service, resolving vendor inquiries and disputes promptly and professionally.
8. Implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in the AP function.
9. Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless integration of AP processes with overall company operations.
10. Training and mentoring AP staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Consulting Consultant: AP Manager role will have:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in Accounts Payable management, preferably in the Healthcare industry.
2. Proficiency in PeopleSoft, Workday, and GHX.
3. Proven experience managing T&E processes.
4. Exceptional customer service skills, with a focus on resolving vendor issues promptly and professionally.
5. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze financial data and provide insightful reports.
6. Experience in month-end and year-end closing processes.
7. A track record of implementing process improvements in the AP function.
8. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with teams across the organization.
9. A commitment to continuous learning and improvement, with the ability to train and mentor AP staff.
10. The ability to work remotely, with a high degree of self-motivation and discipline.
