The Role

We are seeking a reliable RDH with excellent clinical skills and a warm "bedside manner." You will be a key player in our preventative care team, conducting screenings, educating patients, and assisting with treatment planning for gum disease and oral health.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough cleanings, screenings, and oral health histories.
• Identify conditions such as gingivitis, caries, or periodontitis.
• Educate patients of all ages on preventative care and post-op instructions.
• Take high-quality X-rays and dental impressions.
• Maintain accurate patient charting (Dentrix experience preferred).
• Manage the Colgate order schedule for patient education materials.

Qualifications

• License: Valid New York State Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license (Required).
• Experience: Previous clinical experience is preferred, but a positive, patient-friendly personality is a must.
• Software: Experience with Dentrix is a plus.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, stamina for clinical work, and a deep understanding of HIPAA and safety regulations.

Schedule & Location

• Hours: Monday through Wednesday, 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM.
• Location: Albany, NY 12205 (Colonie area).

Compensation:

• $52/hour
