Estimator

TRC’s client, located in Eatonton, GA, has an opportunity for an Estimator to join their team!   This is a high-impact position with strong growth potential. Travel is minimal and the company offers a full benefits package.   The Estimator will review construction plans and specifications, develop material takeoffs, and prepare competitive bid packages.   Key Responsibilities Review and interpret project specifications, drawings, addenda, and information gathered from pre-bid meetings and site visits Prepare and distribute quote requests to vendors and subcontractors Attend pre-bid meetings and/or project site visits, including documenting conditions and taking site photos as needed Collect and analyze vendor and subcontractor quotes and incorporate them into project cost spreadsheets Maintain and update project estimating spreadsheets, including changes from addenda, site visits, and pre-bid meetings Collaborate with internal departments to gather information necessary to prepare complete and accurate proposals Compile all project data to prepare and submit timely, competitive bid proposals Communicate with engineers, owners, and project contacts to clarify project requirements and resolve issues Support the Estimating Coordinator by providing required information for final proposal documentation Assist upper management, operations, and estimating staff as needed throughout the bid process Maintain strong proficiency in estimating and project software while ensuring high accuracy and attention to detail   TRC is an equal opportunity employer and considers all qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected status under applicable law.
