Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

• Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months within the past 3 years.

• Travel experience is preferred from any number of months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license (required for submission).

• No current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - St. Croix Regional Medical Center.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - Must be able to read & interpret tele. - RNs are responsible to read tele, print strips, and chart on them; charge assists with questions. Spacelab monitors. - General MedSurg patients, generally 18+ with occasional younger post-surgical patients; diagnoses include surgical, ortho, COPD, CHF, diabetes, sepsis, dementia, cellulitis, AMS, pneumonia, SBO, COVID, and influenza. - Only heparin per protocol titration.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - Experience at smaller sized facilities preferred.

Special Requests: - At least 1 holiday during the holiday season.

Shift & Scheduling: - 7p-7a and weekend flex. - 12Hr shifts, 7a-7p/7p-7a. No self-scheduling. Manager sets schedule. - Every other weekend, potential to be every 3rd. Weekend is Fri/Sat/Sun for both shifts. - At least 1 holiday during the holiday season. Travelers expected to fill in where needed. Manager will take into consideration if contract falls during multiple holidays. - No call or standby requirement.
