We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Manufacturing Engineer (Electro-Mechanical) to join our team. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in the manufacturing industry. You will be a key player in developing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. This role requires a blend of technical expertise in electro-mechanical systems and a deep understanding of manufacturing principles.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and test all aspects of mechanical components, equipment, and machinery related to electro-mechanical systems.
2. Apply knowledge of engineering principles to design products such as sensors, valves, solenoids, and other electro-mechanical systems.
3. Collaborate with design engineering and manufacturing team to develop and implement new product manufacturing, assembly processes, and equipment.
4. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to production processes and equipment, including electrical and pneumatic systems.
5. Implement improvements to existing manufacturing processes, focusing on enhancing productivity, quality, and efficiency.
6. Develop and maintain detailed work instructions for assigned products/processes. Disseminate these instructions to the production floor to ensure that the workforce is well-trained and capable.
7. Use SolidWorks or equivalent CAD software to design, test, and validate tools and equipment used in the manufacturing process.
8. Execute and analyze tests to inspect product performances and adjust processes as needed.
9. Participate in cross-functional teams to execute product development plan.
10. Conduct root cause analysis for manufacturing process deviations and perform corrective actions.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role, specifically in electro-mechanical systems.
3. Proficient in the use of SolidWorks or equivalent CAD software for designing, testing, and validating tools and equipment.
4. Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with sensors, valves, solenoids, electrical systems, troubleshooting, pneumatics, extrusion, and injection molding.
5. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a knack for technical innovation and creative engineering solutions.
7. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and present ideas clearly and effectively.
8. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks based on company needs.
9. Proven track record of driving continuous improvement in process capabilities, product yield, and production volumes.
10. Must be a self-starter, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
