A bit about us:
We are working with a well-established national litigation firm seeking an Office Managing Attorney to lead its Houston office. This is a high-impact leadership role for a senior attorney who wants to step into a true player/coach position with influence over people, performance, and growth.
This is not a figurehead title. You will be directly involved in shaping the office, mentoring attorneys, and driving both client service and operational success.

What You’ll Do:
Lead and manage day-to-day operations of the Houston office
Oversee attorney performance, workflow, and case quality
Partner with firm leadership on office strategy, growth, and hiring
Mentor and develop attorneys, paralegals, and staff
Maintain and grow key client relationships
Support business development efforts and market presence in Houston
Monitor KPIs including billables, productivity, and financial performance
Improve processes, systems, and overall office efficiency
What You Have:
Licensed Texas attorney
Strong background in litigation defense (insurance defense, mass tort, or complex liability preferred)
Experience managing cases from start to finish
Prior leadership, mentorship, or team management experience
Ability to balance legal work with operational oversight
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Interest in contributing to firm growth and long-term leadership
