Job Details

Job Overview:
As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving sales and managing accounts across a designated territory. This is a field-based role where you’ll be expected to travel to various retail locations, build strong relationships with customers, and promote our range of tobacco products. You’ll work independently, but will be supported by a team of professionals who are committed to your success.

Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Account Management:

Drive new business opportunities by identifying and targeting potential customers within your assigned territory.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing accounts, ensuring their continued satisfaction and loyalty.
Visit retail accounts (convenience stores, smoke shops, etc.) regularly to ensure proper product stocking, merchandising, and customer satisfaction.
Present and promote new tobacco products to accounts, highlighting their benefits and competitive advantages.
Manage and track sales performance to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Route Management:

Plan and execute daily, weekly, and monthly routes to visit current and prospective customers across a wide geographic area.
Effectively manage your time and calendar to maximize the number of calls per day, while balancing sales goals with customer needs.
Customer Service & Support:

Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and offering solutions to improve product sales.
Advise clients on industry trends, product offerings, and promotional opportunities.
Monitor inventory levels at customer locations and recommend reorders as needed.
Reporting and Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and transactions.
Provide regular reports on account status, sales figures, and market trends.
Use CRM software to document progress and keep the sales team informed of any account changes.
Qualifications:
Experience:

Proven track record of success in outside sales, preferably in the tobacco, FMCG, or related industries.
Previous experience with account management and relationship-building is a plus.
Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
Skills:

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a high volume of accounts.
Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a passion for driving sales.
Comfortable with travel and spending a significant amount of time on the road.
Other Requirements:

Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Ability to lift and carry products (up to 30 lbs) as needed.
Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
Knowledge of the tobacco industry and its regulatory environment is preferred but not required.
