Job Description
Our client, a leading organization in the technology and software development industry, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Analyst 5 to join their team. As a Quality Analyst 5, you will be an integral part of the Quality Assurance department supporting software testing and process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a proactive mindset, which will enable you to thrive in a dynamic and innovative environment.
Job Title: Quality Analyst 5
Location: Cheyenne, WY
Pay Range: $55-$60 per hour
What's the Job?
- Develop, implement, and document comprehensive testing activities including test planning, execution, and defect tracking
- Test system modifications to ensure readiness for deployment and identify potential issues
- Create and maintain testing programs addressing database impacts, software scenarios, and usability factors
- Document software defects using bug tracking systems and communicate findings effectively to development teams
- Monitor defect resolution efforts and track progress to ensure quality standards are met
What's Needed?
- Associate's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or related discipline
- 10+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
- Proven experience in writing test documentation including Test Plans, scripts, and test result reports
- Strong analytical skills to interpret test results and recommend improvements
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
