Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a North Dakota license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (Midwest) CommonSpirit Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (Midwest) CommonSpirit Health.

• 12 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (Midwest) CommonSpirit Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (Midwest) CommonSpirit Health.

Additional Details:

Special Requests: - An interview may not be available prior to offer. - Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. - Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. - References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to. - Submission Limit: Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.

Required Skills/Experience: - Nurses read their own strips each shift and document; there are no monitor techs. Mindray monitors are used on the unit. - Nurses manage respiratory equipment and administer respiratory treatments. Hamilton C1 ventilator with CPAP and BiPAP and high-flow are used; ventilated patients are not kept on the unit.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - ER experience preferred. - Experience in critical access facilities is appreciated.

Shift & Scheduling: - Every 3rd weekend assignment or more if desired. - If they can work holidays, that would be desired, inclusion into rotation schedule. - No on-call. - Block scheduling available depending on staffing needs; manager scheduling; schedule out 6 weeks ahead.

Floating Requirements: - Float to ER to help, not the first to float depending on staffing that day, but flexibility appreciated.

Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days

1 Charge/Lead reference from within the last 12 months

1 Manager/Supervisor reference from within the last 3 years

Driver’s license required for submission

Certifications:

• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
