TransForce is seeking a CDL A Truck Driver to support local delivery operations based in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Local CDL A Truck Driver Job Details:

•    Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00AM - 5:00PM, 1st Shift
•    Pay: $29 per hour (about $1,595 per week)
•    Route Type: Local Delivery / Dedicated
•    Freight / Load Type: Move/haul flooring supplies. Electric pallet jack, carts and 2 wheelers provided to make Heavy Touch deliveries
•    Handling: Heavy Touch / Electric Pallet Jack

Local CDL A Truck Driver Job Minimum Requirements: 

•    License: CDL A 
•    Experience: 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
•    Endorsements: None
•    Equipment Experience: Pallet jack
•    Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years)
•    Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements

Local CDL A Truck Driver Job Responsibilities:

•    Safely operate commercial vehicle on local delivery routes
•    Transport flooring supplies in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
•    Perform required handling tasks including move/haul flooring supplies. Electric pallet jack, carts and 2 wheelers provided to make Heavy Touch deliveries
•    Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
•    Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
•    Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
•    Meet the physical demands of the role, including loading/unloading of their truck and also be able to lift between 80-100lb rolls of padding.
