Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical equipment issues using tools and technical documentation
- Disassemble, clean, repair, and rebuild industrial equipment to manufacturer specifications
- Perform preventive maintenance, including lubrication, filter replacement, and system checks
- Maintain service documentation, including repair reports and parts tracking
- Coordinate with internal teams to prioritize repairs and communicate timelines
- Assist with process improvements to enhance service efficiency and turnaround time
- Support customer training on equipment operation and maintenance
- Maintain shop organization, safety standards, and proper tool maintenance
- Assist with production support tasks as needed during lower repair volume periods
Field Service Responsibilities:
- Assist with installation, startup, maintenance, and repair at customer locations
- Perform troubleshooting onsite when needed
- Complete service documentation and reports
- Provide technical support remotely when required
- Support emergency or backup service coverage as needed
Qualifications:
- Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in industrial maintenance, compressors, rotating equipment, or HVAC systems
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
- Strong communication skills with internal teams and customers
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Technical training or manufacturer certifications preferred
- Experience with industrial equipment repair strongly preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Comfortable working in industrial environments
