Job DescriptionMaster's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract opportunity is available for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to support elementary schools with increased caseloads in the Sykesville, MD area. This role provides a chance to make a meaningful impact on student communication development within a supportive educational setting.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students.
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to monitor student progress.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and evaluations.
- Participate in meetings and assist with compliance to district policies.
Qualifications:
- Valid Maryland Speech-Language Pathology License (SLP).
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Experience working in school settings is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage increased caseloads effectively.
Location: Sykesville, MD servicing elementary schools in the area.
Position Details:
- Contract role with availability starting ASAP through June 5th.
- Full-time or part-time hours available to accommodate different schedules.
