Join our healthcare partner's Consulting department, where you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional care in specialties such as Neuro, ENT, Endocrinology, Nephrology, Cardiac, or Urology. This role demands initiative, flexibility, and responsibility, ensuring that patient care is prioritized based on physical and psychosocial needs. You'll communicate effectively with consulting providers about changes in patient status and diagnostic results, all while working with minimal supervision.

• Perform accurate and complete patient assessments, coordinating interdisciplinary screenings and assessments
• Explain specialty procedures to patients and families, utilizing specialty equipment and assisting physicians
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and follow-up instructions
• Prepare and administer medications according to policy and nursing standards
• Maintain knowledge of cardiac monitoring systems and protocols, identifying and treating dysrhythmias
• Ensure thorough and timely medical record documentation
• Optimize patient safety and reduce healthcare errors through established protocols
• Cross-train across consulting areas for coverage options
• Participate in performance improvement activities
• Comply with safety procedures to ensure a safe environment

Requirements:

• Current IL RN License
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Need 2 years experience in setting
• Preferred: 2 years in Critical Care/Cardiac Care
• Strong computer skills with EMR navigation
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
