Job DescriptionMaster's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 20262027 school year, supporting students in grades K12 in New London, CT. This role serves a diverse caseload ranging from moderate to profound speech and language needs, tailored to candidate experience and preferences. The position is housed within a school environment and is offered as a contract role, welcoming both local and travel professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments for a pediatric student population.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for early childhood and elementary school students.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies.
- Provide therapy services addressing a wide range of pediatric speech and language disorders.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Certification in Speech-Language Pathology, with pediatric experience preferred.
- Familiarity with early childhood and elementary school populations.
- Ability to manage varied caseloads effectively.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Valid license and credentials as required by state law.
