Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Providing occupational therapy services in an educational setting, this position supports students from kindergarten through 12th grade. The role involves working with diverse age groups including early childhood, elementary, middle, and high school students to enhance their physical, sensory, and motor skills, enabling them to succeed academically and socially.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized intervention plans for students
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student progress
  • Implement therapeutic activities tailored to various age groups, from K-12
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation aligned with state regulations and school policies
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to creating an inclusive learning environment

Qualifications:

  • Active state occupational therapy license
  • Experience working with students across a range of grade levels (K-12) including early childhood and secondary education
  • Strong understanding of developmental milestones and educational requirements for school-based OT
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration within a school team
  • Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to meet individual student needs

Location: Salinas, California (School-based contract position)

Position Details:

  • Contract Duration: January 2026 through June 2026
  • Work Schedule: 5 days per week, 30+ hours weekly
  • Age Group Served: Kindergarten through 12th grade
