8th Grade Elementary Speech and Language Pathologist in Mobile, AL

Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist position is available to provide services across a diverse K-12 caseload within a school setting in Mobile, AL. This contract role begins ASAP and continues through the end of the school year. Candidates with experience serving students from pre-school through 12th grade are encouraged to apply, with both part-time and full-time availability being considered.

Responsibilities include:

• Assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders for students ranging from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade.
• Developing individualized education plans (IEPs) and collaborating with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals.
• Monitoring student progress and adjusting therapy strategies as needed.
• Providing support within elementary, middle, and high school settings.

Desired qualifications:

• Certification and licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Experience working with pediatric populations in educational environments.
• Ability to manage a caseload spanning early childhood to secondary education.
• Strong communication and organizational skills to coordinate with school personnel and families.
