We are looking for an SAP Integration Developer to serve as the primary owner of day-to-day KTLO (Keep the Lights On) operations for existing SAP PI/PO integrations, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving integration failures. Additionally, the SAP Integration Developer will play a key role in the development, administration, and operational monitoring of interfaces and integration points configured in the SAP Integration Platform (PI/PO, Integration Suite). This position will be a contract and hybrid in Wyomissing, PA.
Due to the specific legal and contractual requirements associated with this position, this role will be direct employment with CAI. This position does not offer work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.
What You’ll Do
Serve as the primary owner of day-to-day KTLO (Keep the Lights On) operations for existing SAP PI/PO integrations, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving integration failures
Participate as a key contributor in the upcoming SAP upgrade project, specifically the migration of existing integrations from SAP NetWeaver PI/PO to SAP Integration Suite / Cloud Integration
Collaborate with integration team members and project stakeholders to ensure smooth cutover and minimal business disruption during migration
Develop, configure, test, and deploy integration flows, mappings, and adapters within the SAP middleware landscape
Document integration designs, technical specifications, and operational runbooks
Provide guidance and support to cross-functional teams on integration-related issues and best practices
Support all phases of SDLC by producing required documentation and estimates; oversee and manage deliverables produced by junior staff
Provide 24X7 primary and/or secondary support for web services, B2B file transfers, and other integration methods for interfaces considered core or mission-critical to the business
Coordinate maintenance activities, which may include release schedules for one or more functional areas
Work with the Basis support team to configure and tune the Integration infrastructure for optimal performance
Design and validate the integration architectural approach for proposed solutions based on SAP best practices
What You’ll Need
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Information/Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent discipline
Minimum of eight (8) years of development in the SAP PO/PI and/or CPI platform is required, with ten (10) years being preferred
Required experience (2+ years) in development and/or troubleshooting of HANA Cloud Platform Integration (CPI)/HCI (previously HANA Cloud Integration), iFlows, and ABAP
Advanced to senior-level experience with SAP NetWeaver PI/PO — including design, development, monitoring, and support of integration scenarios
Proficiency with standard PI/PO components: Integration Directory, Enterprise Services Repository, message mapping, ABAP/Java mapping, adapters (IDOC, RFC, SOAP, REST, File, JDBC, etc.)
Strong understanding of middleware concepts, including message routing, transformation, and error handling
Ability to work independently and manage multiple integration workstreams simultaneously
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams
Preferred:
ITIL (IT Infrastructure Library) Foundation certification (at hire or within 12 months in position)
Working knowledge of COBIT IT Governance & Management framework and familiarity with regulatory/compliance items governing IT
Strong experience with BAPI and EDI preferred
Prior experience with PI/PO to Integration Suite migration projects — including assessment, design, and execution of integration cutover
Familiarity with SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) and related services
Experience working within utility, energy, or similarly regulated industry environments is a plus
Physical Demands

Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time, with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

$70.00-$78.00 per hourThe pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role may also be entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
