What You'll Be Doing
Lead and apply regional reliability engineering strategies to improve equipment performance, uptime, and maintenance cost effectiveness across multiple cement plants.
Monitor equipment health using condition monitoring technologies (vibration, thermography, oil analysis, and other predictive tools), analyze reliability data and KPIs, and translate insights into actionable maintenance plans.
Facilitate root cause and reliability failure analyses for equipment, process, quality, and production issues, ensuring sustainable corrective actions are implemented and tracked.
Collaborate with plant maintenance teams to optimize preventive and predictive maintenance programs, outage planning, and asset performance strategies.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support facilities in implementing Heidelberg Materials maintenance and reliability programs.
Develop and implement effective spare parts management strategies across the plants supported, ensuring identification and availability of critical spare parts, optimizing inventory levels and minimizing costs.
What Are We Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Demonstrated experience in reliability engineering within a cement, heavy industrial, or continuous manufacturing environment.
Strong working knowledge of reliability principles, condition-based maintenance, and root cause analysis methodologies.
Proficiency with predictive maintenance technologies and computerized maintenance management systems (preferably SAP).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills with the ability to support multiple sites remotely.
Willingness to travel to the plant and corporate sites supported for inspections, meetings, and project implementation.
Work Environment
This role is based in a central location and provides remote support to multiple cement plants within a designated region. Travel to plant and corporate sites is required for inspections, meetings, and project implementation.
