Job Description

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years ER RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Deliver expert nursing care in an Emergency Room setting at a dynamic acute care facility in Palmdale, CA. This travel opportunity invites experienced Registered Nurses specialized in Emergency Nursing to provide coordinated, high-quality care to trauma and emergency patients of all ages. You will supervise nursing staff and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes using critical thinking, professional judgment, and adherence to established standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to assigned patients in the ER according to current standards and nursing processes.
• Supervise and direct activities of nursing staff across various levels.
• Coordinate patient care in collaboration with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Manage trauma and emergency cases, including triage and treatment, ensuring adherence to trauma protocols.
• Maintain required documentation relevant to patient care and nursing activities.
• Participate in ongoing education and maintain certifications, including Moderate Sedation Training.

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Current RN license with active Emergency Room (ER) experience.
• Completion of Moderate Sedation Training is required.
• Required certification: NCI (Nursing Competency in Injury).
• Experience working within a trauma-designated acute care setting preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and critical thinking skills.
