We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Family Office Accountant/Account Manager to join our thriving business management team. This role is integral to the financial management of our high-net-worth family office clients within the Entertainment industry, providing comprehensive accounting, financial, and advisory services. The successful candidate will be proficient in Spanish, with a strong background in account management, accounts payable, and risk management. This role demands a deep understanding of accounting advisory, insurance, business management, commission schedules, tax packages, and client inquiries. A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required.

Job Details

Responsibilities:
  • Handle the day-to-day financial management of high-net-worth family office clients, including but not limited to, accounts payable, account management, and risk management.
  • Provide comprehensive accounting advisory and financial services to clients, ensuring their financial affairs are managed efficiently and effectively.
  • Liaise with insurance providers to ensure optimal coverage for clients, managing claims and renewals as necessary.
  • Oversee business management activities, including the preparation and review of commission schedules and tax packages.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries, providing expert advice and guidance as required.
  • Leverage your Spanish language skills to communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking clients and stakeholders.
  • Implement and maintain robust financial controls, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and legislation.
  • Utilize your CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) skills to manage and optimize payroll processes for clients. (a plus but not required)

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A master's degree or CPA designation will be considered an asset.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a family office setting.
  • Proficiency in Spanish is required.
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification is preferred not required.
  • Demonstrated experience in accounts payable, account management, and risk management.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting advisory, insurance, business management, commission schedules, tax packages, and client inquiries.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound financial decisions.
  • Proficiency in using accounting and financial management software.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
