As a Med Surg Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care. You will be responsible for managing a diverse patient population, including both MSU and PCU status patients, with staffing ratios of 1:4 for PCU and 1:5 for Medical/Surgical groups. You will also have the opportunity to float to Telemetry and Med Surg units, ensuring a dynamic and engaging work environment.

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in an acute care setting
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Monitor patient progress and report any changes to the healthcare team
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Utilize the EPIC charting system for accurate documentation
  • Maintain compliance with all required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS
  • Need 1 year experience in setting
