A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Fortson, GA, supporting local schools through a contract position extending through May 21st, 2026. This role offers flexible hours ranging from part-time to full-time (up to 37.5 hours per week), allowing adaptability to your schedule and preferences. Caseloads will be tailored based on the candidates experience alongside district requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech and language disorders in a school setting
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop effective Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting in compliance with district policies and state regulations
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Georgia Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
  • Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) educator certification
  • Candidates who are Speech-Language Pathology Clinical Fellows (SLP-CFY) will be considered
  • Prior experience working in school environments is preferred
