We are currently seeking a seasoned Permanent Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to manage and lead construction projects for one of the most innovative construction companies in the industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall direction, completion, and financial outcome of a construction project. They will manage work teams, foster a positive work environment, and directly engage in the planning, design, and execution stages of our projects.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and supervise the overall planning, implementation, and completion of construction projects.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and forecasts.
  • Coordinate and manage the contract bidding and negotiation process.
  • Implement effective communication plan and operating rhythm, including provision of regular and accurate reports.
  • Oversee project cost control, quality control, and safety measures.
  • Handle project risk management, including identification, analysis, response planning, and controlling risks.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation, ensuring lessons learned and best practices are shared across the organization.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that supports the professional growth of team members.
  • Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in the construction industry, managing large, complex projects.
  • Proven experience in construction management, budgeting, contract management, scheduling, and cost control.
  • Strong understanding of construction procedures, material, and project management principles.
  • Exceptional leadership, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software tools.
  • Certification in Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in high-stress environments and make decisions in a timely manner.
  • Must be able to travel as needed to construction sites.
