Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to support elementary and middle school students within a school district located in Belvidere, IL. This position offers a contract role starting ASAP through the end of the school year, with the potential to extend into the next school year if there is no internal hire.

The ideal candidate will manage a caseload of approximately 35 students across two school buildings, providing direct speech and language interventions. Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English is essential to effectively serve the diverse student population. Please note, this role does not include any telepractice (VOC) services as it is replacing a current virtual SLP.

Work hours are either 7:15 AM to 3:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 3:45 PM, totaling 37.5 hours per week. Candidates must hold a valid Professional Educator License (PEL) and meet state licensure requirements to be considered.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid PEL and State Speech-Language Pathology license
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (required)
  • Experience working with elementary and middle school students
  • Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 35 students
  • Comfortable working across two school buildings
  • Availability for full-time hours, Monday through Friday

Responsibilities include assessing, planning, and implementing speech and language therapy sessions, collaborating with educational staff, and monitoring student progress to support communication development.
