Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years Stepdown RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Registered Nurse Stepdown Unit

Location: Minden, Nebraska

A healthcare system in the Nebraska/Iowa region seeks experienced Registered Nurses for night shifts in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This contract opportunity offers the chance to work 12-hour shifts with 36 hours guaranteed weekly.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license
• Minimum 2 years of stepdown or progressive care unit experience
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients requiring stepdown level monitoring and treatment
• Monitor patient condition and respond to changes promptly
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care plans
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Schedule:

• 12-hour night shifts
• 36 hours guaranteed per week
