Job DescriptionMaster's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist for dynamic school-based travel assignments in York, PA. This role provides opportunities to deliver impactful therapy services across multiple educational settings, supporting children with diverse needs while enhancing their abilities to succeed academically and socially.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' occupational therapy needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to integrate therapy goals into the classroom environment
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with educational regulations
- Provide consultative support to school staff to promote accessible and inclusive learning spaces
- Travel between multiple school locations as assigned, ensuring flexibility and adaptability in various settings
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist licensure in the state of Pennsylvania
- Experience working with pediatric populations in school or educational environments
- Strong understanding of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and related educational frameworks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and school personnel
- Ability to manage a travel schedule efficiently while maintaining high-quality care and documentation standards
