Job Description

Master’s degree in School Counseling, Counseling or a related field, active School Counselor license and 1+ years School Counselor experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A licensed mental health professional is sought to provide counseling services in a high school setting located in Kingston, NH. This contract position offers part-time hours with a focus on supporting students with emotional and behavioral disorders.

Key Details:

• Location: Kingston, NH
• Schedule: 20 hours per week, spread over 3 days
• Caseload: Approximately 12 high school students with emotional behavioral disorders (EBD)
• Position Type: Contract

Qualifications:

• Must hold a current license as a Counselor, Social Worker, or School Psychologist
• Statements of Eligibility will not be accepted
• Experience working with high school students and EBD populations preferred

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct counseling services to students identified with emotional and behavioral challenges
• Develop and implement individualized support plans tailored to student needs
• Collaborate with school staff to monitor progress and adjust interventions
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and legal standards
• Participate in relevant team meetings and professional development opportunities
