Job DescriptionMaster’s degree in School Counseling, Counseling or a related field, active School Counselor license and 1+ years School Counselor experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A licensed mental health professional is sought to provide counseling services in a high school setting located in Kingston, NH. This contract position offers part-time hours with a focus on supporting students with emotional and behavioral disorders.
Key Details:
- Location: Kingston, NH
- Schedule: 20 hours per week, spread over 3 days
- Caseload: Approximately 12 high school students with emotional behavioral disorders (EBD)
- Position Type: Contract
Qualifications:
- Must hold a current license as a Counselor, Social Worker, or School Psychologist
- Statements of Eligibility will not be accepted
- Experience working with high school students and EBD populations preferred
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct counseling services to students identified with emotional and behavioral challenges
- Develop and implement individualized support plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with school staff to monitor progress and adjust interventions
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and legal standards
- Participate in relevant team meetings and professional development opportunities
