Job DescriptionMaster's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2026-2027 school year within a district serving multiple locations across El Dorado County, California. This contract position offers a dynamic work environment where adaptability and a commitment to student success are essential.
Location: Various sites throughout El Dorado County, including areas from El Dorado Hills to Camino, CA. Travel between locations is required, with some assignments potentially changing during the semester. Candidates must be comfortable with an itinerant work schedule and onsite presence only.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students with mild to moderate needs, with some opportunities to work with severe caseloads.
- Manage caseloads that may vary depending on the specific assignment.
- Collaborate with school staff and families to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district standards.
- Provide onsite supervision for Clinical Fellows (CFs) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Registered as an SLP with a California state license.
- Experience working in California schools and familiarity with SEIS software.
- Flexibility to travel and work across multiple school sites within the district.
- Comfort supervising CFs and SLPAs onsite.
- Willingness to take on varied caseloads, including mild to moderate and some severe cases.

- This role is onsite only; remote work is not an option.

- Travel assignments are open and supported, with Lake Tahoe approximately 1.5 hours east and Sacramento about 45 minutes west of the locations.
