Job DescriptionMaster's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in a school setting located in Ballwin, MO. This role is ideal for a licensed professional holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology and possessing experience working in educational environments.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing comprehensive speech-language evaluations and individualized therapy to students with communication disorders.
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective intervention plans.
- Documenting student progress and maintaining accurate records in compliance with school and regulatory guidelines.
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and contributing expertise to support student success.
- Adhering to ethical standards and confidentiality requirements in all interactions.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Prior experience working as an SLP in school settings preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations.
