School Occupational Therapist - Moreno Valley, California

Job Description

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Occupational Therapist position is available at a school setting located in Moreno Valley, CA, serving the Romoland area for the 2026-2027 school year. This role is critical in supporting students developmental and functional needs within the educational environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students to enhance their participation and success in school activities.
• Evaluate students functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their educational goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to integrate therapy goals into classroom activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Qualifications:

• Valid and current Occupational Therapist licensure.
• Experience working in school-based occupational therapy settings preferred.
• Knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy practices and education-related interventions.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills to work effectively with students, families, and school staff.
• Ability to work independently and manage a full caseload.

Position Details:

• Location: Moreno Valley, CA (Romoland service area)
• Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week
• Duration: Start in early August 2026 through late May 2027 (full school year)
