Job Description

Join our team as a travel Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) at a skilled nursing facility in Jamaica, NY. Provide evaluation and treatment for communication and swallowing disorders while supporting multidisciplinary care for a diverse patient population. Minimum Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program.
  • Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
  • Active New York State SLP license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) or long-term care setting preferred.
  • Experience with dysphagia assessment and management, including instrumental assessments (e.g., FEES or MBSS) preferred.
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records and documentation required.
  • Ability to work with adults with complex medical histories, including neurologic diagnoses and post-acute rehabilitation, preferred.
