Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Nebraska license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (Midwest) CommonSpirit Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (Midwest) CommonSpirit Health.

• 12 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (Midwest) CommonSpirit Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (Midwest) CommonSpirit Health.

Required Credentials:

• Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility.
• Required to pass a Basic Dysrhythmia/EKG exam during onboarding. Pass/fail exam on Friday during orientation. Open book exam on skills learned. Must receive a 90% to pass.
• References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.

Special Requests: - An interview may not be available prior to offer. - Submission Limit: Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.

Floating Requirements: - Float as needed within scope.

Required Skills/Experience: - Charge experience required: at least 1 year. - Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.

Shift & Scheduling: - 12-hour nights.
